Cycle Training Management System

The system was commissioned by Surrey County Council Cycle Training Team and developed by Weblaunch Limited. It has been thoroughly road-tested. It is based on our many years of experience delivering cycle training and our aim has been to make the administration of the scheme more efficient and increase our capacity.  See the list of current features.

The cost of the system is £2,000 set-up fee, including face-to-face training, then £7,000 per year. The annual subscription includes all the features.

Schools login to request training, confirm, cancel or request changes to bookings, submit support requests, download course resources, evaluate training undertaken.

Instructors login to record their availability and update it, view their schedule, update their details, submit pay and expense claims, submit incident reports, add a comment to the service risk assessment and claim private training opportunities that become available.

Members of the general public can book private training or enrol on to a public course. 

Scheme administrators login to schedule courses and allocate Instructors, aided by a scheduler showing current bookings, Instructor availability and travel distances. In addition, Administrators have a host of support functions, including:

• create additional types of courses
• set course defaults such as Instructor ratios, course length, session times, terms and conditions
• set up Instructor CPD
• create online risk assessments with mapping
• maintain contact details of all schools whether or not they have booked
• process Instructor pay and expense claims
• view various reports and data downloads
• add posts to an onsite Instructor newsletter
• send bulk emails (eg, to remind schools that haven't booked a course
• create work email addresses for Instructors
• create automatic scheduled emails (eg post-course evaluation link)
• set up privacy notices and other GDPR features
